Winter Reef Fishing

We have made several trips out to the reef this winter with good results each time. There are some big redfish, lots of black sea bass, sheepshead, weakfish, and other bottom dwellers. The spiny dogfish sharks are already starting to show as well. We have been using fiddlers, shrimp, minnows and gulp baits for fishing. The sheepshead bite has been really good and the bsb are always around. We are picking the days that the winds are not blowing to make for a fun, safe trip. Just remember to wear layers to keep warm on these colder days.
